Common Award Scheme Regulations
The College's taught programmes are offered under the Common Awards Scheme, which includes common Regulations for Taught Programmes of Study. This Scheme was established in 2008/9, and all students who began their programme during or after that academic year will be assessed according to these regulations.
Some students who began their programme before 2008/9, but have taken a break in study or otherwise "slowed down" during the course of their programme will also be assessed according to the Common Awards Scheme Regulations. For further information please see our Implementation Strategy Briefing Paper.
The Regulations for Taught Programmes of Study were updated for 2009/10; these amendments were clarifications of the 2008/9 regulations rather than practical amendments and so apply to all students. Please follow the links to the left of this page to view individual sections or alternatively download the full regulations as a pdf file.
For information, the 2008/9 regulations are also available to download, together with a document detailing the amendments made for 2009/10.
