The Telephone Service

The College telephone service is based upon telephone switches located in Gordon Square and the Main Building. They operate on several number ranges starting 020 7631 6000 (the main telephone number for the College).  A central voicemail system is available offering a number of benefits over standard answer machines.

Telephone related requests are made via the Telephone Service Request Form which provides the details we need in order to complete the request. In addition, if you are organising moves and changes affecting several people, then completing the moves and changes form word format helps us to ensure that the work is undertaken smoothly.

All Schools and Departments have a nominated telephone representative who is the primary contact for telephone related matters. All telephone call charges are recharged to the Schools/Departments responsible for the telephone number in question.

An on-line directory of extensions and email addresses is available. Please check your own entry and email directory@bbk.ac.uk with any corrections or alterations. Although a paper directory is no longer produced, you may download pdf extracts from the directory.

We also offer a Blackberry Enterprise service, allowing the integration of authorised mobile devices with our Exchange email service (for staff only).
